The U.S. Marine Corp had agreed to send Master Sergeant Robert "Gunny" Bronson to hundreds of High Schools across the United States to show interested students proper gun handling, shooting, cleaning and safety techniques.
After each demonstration there were always reporters from area television stations and newspapers to cover the story.
After one such demonstration a female reporter with an anti-war, anti-gun attitude told Master Sgt. Bronson that she thought he was giving the students the tools and equipment to become robbers and murders.
Without missing a beat and with a straight face, Master Sgt. Bronson quickly responded with: Miss, you have the tools and are equipped to be a prostitute, but are you?

The purpose of war is for the few to profit at the expense of the many.
As far as Jeff Crocker goes, (from the sidebar), he was arrogant. OK he could sing, but Nashville was flooded with wannabees like him at that time. And with Garth Brooks on the rise, you needed national appeal. So "Southern Reign" was probably not the best choice. As if any region that constantly lags in educational performance is ever going to reign over anything.
So, yeah, Crocker: just another fish from a small pond with a bad attitude swimming in Nashville; dime a dozen.
